Church Purpose

To Edify, Educate, and Empower to Evangelize those that Confess Jesus Christ as Their Savior

Love and Grace is based on the premise of Ephesians 4:11-13, which states the following: “And He (God) gave some apostles, and some propjets, and some evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God unto a perfect man unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”.

From this passage of scripture the Love and Grace Christian Fellowship Church draws its general mandate and purpose: “To edify, educate, and empower to evangelize those that confess Jesus Christ as their Savior.”

Edify:  We endeavor to raise the consciousness of men through the Word of God to live a life of hope, greater possibilities, and brotherly love.  We believe that through exhortation, the minds of men will be motivated to excel mentally, spiritually, and physically and that man will be able to maximize all of his God-given potential.

Educate: The spiritual tools utilized to educate is the in depth study of the Word of God through bible studies from elementary through collegiate levels.  We will endeavor to raise the knowledge of the Christian in his chosen tool “the sword of the spirit”, which is the Word of God”. (Eph. 6:17b).  We will encourage, actively motivate and sponsor children of all ages to seek secular education by promoting the importance of school, and continuing on to college.  Thereby offering individuals a successful opportunity to secure a career whereby they will become more responsible and productive members within our society.

Empower:

Empowering the edified and educated Christian by creating forums for them to perfect their God-given gifts and abilities.  By doing so, each individual will be encouraged and assisted in discovering paths within our society to further develop and demonstrate their talents, gifts, and education for the betterment of mankind.  Ultimately the edified, educated, and empowered individual will seek opportunities to share and repeat what has been offered to them-- Evangelism.
